Main objective of the job:
- Design, implement, maintain, and continuously improve automated CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and DevOps tools using Jenkins, Git, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Docker, and Java in order to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient software delivery across multiple environments, while supporting development teams through automation, monitoring, technical guidance, and best practices.
Main attributions and responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable software delivery across multiple environments.
- Develop and optimize build, test, and deployment automation using Jenkins, Git, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and related technologies.
- Integrate automated testing, static code analysis, security validation, and quality gates into CI/CD workflows.
- Define deployment, rollback, and release management strategies to ensure consistent and secure software delivery.
- Build and maintain scalable, containerized environments using Docker and modern DevOps practices.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and performance tracking for CI/CD pipelines to ensure operational reliability.
- Provide technical support for build, deployment, and infrastructure-related issues while promoting DevOps best practices.
- Develop internal automation tools and utilities in Java to improve engineering efficiency and streamline development processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve development workflows, automation, and infrastructure.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, operational procedures, and user guides for CI/CD processes and tooling.
- Reads, understands and applies the procedures from area of responsibility and other interdepartmental procedures, applicable within the company.
- Fulfils any other tasks related to area of responsibility, as requested by direct superior.
Studies
- University Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- High School Diploma
Knowledge and Skills
- English proficiency
- Experience in DevOps, Build Engineering, Software Engineering, or CI/CD pipeline development
- Proven experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins (mandatory)
- Experience with Git and Git-based version control systems
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD or GitHub Actions (knowledge of both is an advantage)
- Strong experience with Docker and containerization technologies
- Good programming skills in Java for automation tools and engineering utilities
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- Experience integrating automated testing, static code analysis, and quality validation tools (e.g., SonarQube) into CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of deployment automation, release management, and rollback strategies
- Experience with monitoring and notification solutions for CI/CD environments
- Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and DevOps best practices
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proactive mindset focused on automation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative, team-oriented approach
