Junior System Administrator (Windows)

We are looking for a Junior System Administrator to join a leading company in the banking sector. This is a great opportunity for an early-career developer who wants to build their expertise in Microsoft technologies while working on enterprise-scale applications.

Responsibilities:

- Support the administration and maintenance of Windows Server environments.

- Assist in the management of Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, Exchange, and Microsoft 365.

- Create and manage user accounts, groups, and permissions in Active Directory and Exchange.

- Monitor and support backup operations using Veeam.

- Assist in the administration of endpoint protection solutions, including Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP).

- Troubleshoot Windows systems, Microsoft services, and basic network connectivity issues.

- Provide first-level support for Cisco wireless infrastructure.

- Assist in the configuration and maintenance of FortiGate firewall rules and policies.

- Monitor system performance and help ensure the availability and security of the IT infrastructure.

- Collaborate with senior system administrators and other IT teams to resolve incidents and implement infrastructure improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (mandatory).
• 1–2 years of experience in Windows Systems Administration.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, Exchange, and Microsoft 365.
• Experience managing users and permissions in Active Directory.
• Familiarity with backup solutions such as Veeam.
• Basic knowledge of endpoint protection solutions (e.g., Symantec Endpoint Protection or similar).
• Basic understanding of Windows Server administration.
• Familiarity with Cisco wireless environments and FortiGate firewalls is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and grow within a systems administration role.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
