À propos du poste

Renesas is looking for a talented Senior Analog IC Design Engineer to join our Wireless Power Design Center in Zurich, Switzerland. In this role, you will contribute to the development of next-generation Power Management ICs for wireless power applications. Working as part of a highly experienced multidisciplinary engineering team, you will be involved throughout the complete product development lifecycle—from architecture definition and transistor-level circuit implementation to silicon validation and production support. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in analog IC design, enjoys solving complex circuit challenges, and is passionate about developing high-performance integrated circuits. Experience in Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) design is considered a strong advantage. Experience in wireless power, switched-capacitor circuits or data converters is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

· Design high-performance analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits for Power Management applications.

· Develop transistor-level analog building blocks including LDO regulators, bandgap references, operational amplifiers, comparators, bias circuits, voltage and current reference circuits, protection and monitoring circuits.

· Contribute to mixed-signal subsystem development, including ADC integration and support where applicable.

· Perform schematic design, simulation, optimization and verification using industry-standard EDA tools.

· Execute pre-layout and post-layout verification across PVT corners, Monte Carlo and reliability conditions.

· Work closely with Layout Engineers to optimize matching, area, performance and manufacturability.

· Collaborate with Digital Design, Verification, Applications, Product Engineering and Test Engineering teams throughout product development.

· Support silicon bring-up, characterization, debugging and production ramp.

· Document design work and present technical results to cross-functional engineering teams.

Required Qualifications

· M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

· Minimum 2 years of industrial experience in Analog IC Design.

· Strong understanding of CMOS analog circuit design fundamentals.

· Hands-on experience designing analog building blocks for Power Management ICs.

· Experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre and standard analog design methodologies.

· Solid understanding of noise, mismatch, stability and compensation, process variation, reliability and low-power design techniques.

· Strong analytical and debugging skills.

· Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

· Fluent in English.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) design.

· Familiarity with SAR, Pipeline or Sigma-Delta ADC architectures.

· Experience with mixed-signal IC development.

· Experience in BCD and High-Voltage CMOS technologies.

· Knowledge of wireless power or Power Management products.

· Experience with laboratory characterization and silicon validation.

· Programming or scripting experience (Python, SKILL, Perl or Tcl).
