Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled professional with a hybrid role combining Data Engineering and ETL Testing expertise. The candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and validating data pipelines using Snowflake & Azure Data Factory (ADF)/Nexla, while ensuring high data quality through rigorous ETL testing practices.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable data pipelines to extract, transform & load from various sources, using ADF/Nexla
- Build scalable data solutions leveraging Snowflake cloud data warehouse
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Perform data validation, data reconciliation, and source-to-target testing
- Identify data quality issues, mismatches, and inconsistencies
- Conduct regression and integration testing for data pipelines
- Working on data-related technical challenges while collaborating with stakeholders
Required skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of proven experience in data engineering, data integration, and ETL development & Testing.
- Strong experience in Snowflake & ADF/Nexla
- Proficient in SQL for querying and validation
- Knowledge of data warehouse design principles and dimensional modeling
- Understanding of data transformation and validation techniques
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test cases
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software
Preferred skills
- Knowledge of Python & Data Visualization tools
- Familiarity with US Health Insurance domain
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- Certifications or relevant training in data engineering or cloud computing technologies
