YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

The What:

Better engineering decisions start with better analysis. We are looking for an engineer to advance structural analysis capabilities by developing, validating, and improving methods, deepening understanding of structural behaviour, and sharing this knowledge across products and projects.

You support product development by applying established methods while continuously improving them. This includes building FE models, interpreting structural behaviour, validating assumptions, and identifying better approaches. • High-quality structural analyses in product development while methods, models, and tools are continuously improved and validated
• Early identification and open communication of uncertainties, limitations, and knowledge gaps before they impact decisions

YOUR PROFILE

What You Bring

• Deep understanding of composite materials, laminate mechanics, and failure mechanisms
• Experience applying and improving structural analysis methods for composites
• Strong engineering judgement to evaluate simulations and derive conclusions
• Solid FEA and structural mechanics knowledge (load transfer, nonlinear behaviour, structural response)
• Research mindset and curiosity about structural behaviour
• Fluent English

Nice to have:

• Scripting/automation (Python, MATLAB)
• Correlation of simulations with test data
• HyperWorks or similar nonlinear FEA tools
• German skills
