What your day-to-day will look like

• Execute and monitor the closing processes of the Brazilian Payment System (SPB), overseeing cash positions and financial movements throughout the day.
• Operate and supervise financial settlement routines within the STR (Settlement Account) and SPI (Pix Account) environments.
• Perform financial reconciliations and current account controls, ensuring data integrity and the prompt resolution of discrepancies.
• Analyze operational data to prepare management reports, identify risks, and propose process improvements.
• Participate in initiatives focused on automation, operational efficiency, and process enhancement.
• Collaborate with Risk, Regulatory, Technology, and other internal teams to prevent operational failures and ensure business continuity.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, internal policies, and financial market operational requirements.
• Serve as a technical reference for critical financial operations activities.

What you need to shine in this role

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
• Extensive technical knowledge and hands-on experience in the area.
• Experience with the authorization/certification process of a Payment Institution with the Central Bank of Brazil (BACEN).
• Knowledge of SAP, Treasury Management Systems (TMS), and project management tools.
• Experience in fintechs, payment companies, or technology-driven organizations.
• Proficiency in Artificial Intelligence and automation tools applied to productivity, data analysis, and process optimization.
• Banking Reserve Pilot Certification (Curso de Piloto de Reserva Bancária).
• Experience leading projects and multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and a high-performance mindset.
• Advanced application of technology and analytical methodologies to identify improvement opportunities and drive innovation.
• Ability to ensure governance across all area processes.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Knowledge of Alteryx or other low-code platforms.

Nice-to-have qualifications

• Knowledge of data modeling.
• Experience building dashboards using AI-powered tools.
• Advanced Spanish proficiency.
