About the role

YOUR TASKS

  • You analyze and design solutions for our customers with regard to modern cloud architectures
  • You design and operate tailored solutions both in the cloud and in hybrid environments, and contribute your expertise and ideas to continuous development and improvement
  • You analyze existing application landscapes, design solution approaches for their migration to the cloud, and implement them
  • You develop CI/CD pipelines and microservices together with the project team and ensure the security, stability, and compliance of our IT infrastructure through the use of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • You independently take responsibility for the management of build, staging, deployment, and release processes
  • You are involved in consulting our customers both remotely and on site

YOUR PROFIL

  • You hold a completed degree in (Business) Informatics or a comparable qualification in the IT field, with at least 3-5 years of professional experience
  • You have very strong expertise in cloud development and architecture with microservices based on Kubernetes / OpenShift, as well as networking and storage for operating applications in hybrid and cloud-native environments
  • You are familiar with DevOps / GitOps / CI/CD and tools such as GitHub, GitLab, CircleCI, Tekton, etc., and for you, pipelines are more than just conduits for transporting oil and gas
  • You feel at home in software engineering, Java/Kotlin, as well as Quarkus, Spring Boot, or Micronaut, and Kafka is not just something sitting on your bookshelf
  • You have successfully used scripting languages, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Linux/Bash, and Python in your projects
  • You approach topics with a high level of quality awareness and a strong hands-on mentality
  • You enjoy further developing technologies and methodologies, and progress is important to you
  • You are fascinated by digital trends, smart strategies, and their interdependencies
  • You communicate clearly, present confidently, and are comfortable speaking in front of an audience German and English? No problem - you are fluent in both languages, written and spoken (at least C1 level in both languages)
  • You enjoy working in a team, because together we achieve more
  • You like to take responsibility, show initiative, and actively contribute with motivation
