About the role
Alongside partners with organizations to drive digital transformation and build high-performing tech teams.
We are looking for an IT Operations Analyst to join a project at a company specializing in the management of financial markets.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and ensure the availability of production and testing environments.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve operational alerts, incidents, and service disruptions.
- Investigate and resolve L1 and L2 automation failures, ensuring timely recovery of services.
- Manage incidents, service requests, and change tickets, ensuring compliance with defined SLAs.
- Participate in the management and coordination of major incidents, escalating issues when required.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for service improvement.
- Create, review, and maintain operational procedures and knowledge base documentation.
- Work according to ITIL best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and development teams to ensure service reliability and stability.
- Participate in on-call and 24/7 shift rotations to support business-critical services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in IT Operations, Production Support, Infrastructure Support, or a similar role.
- Good knowledge of Linux administration and troubleshooting.
- Experience with monitoring and alerting platforms.
- Experience working with Jira and ITIL-based processes.
- Experience managing incidents, changes, and service requests in production environments.
- Good understanding of troubleshooting methodologies and root cause analysis.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Good command of English.
- Availability to work in a 24/7 shift schedule.
- Strong analytical mindset, sense of ownership, and proactive attitude.
Nice to Have - Experience with scripting (Bash, Python, or similar) for automation.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals.
- Experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines or DevOps practices.
- Experience in financial services or other mission-critical environments.
