About the role
- Develops and compares solution concepts, defines evaluation criteria, and drives design iterations based on test results.
- Plans and executes tests in line with internal standards; ensures completeness via risk assessment and supplementary tests.
- Acts as test champion, standardizing test practices, templates, and infrastructure improvements.
- Identifies risks and issues early, contributes to RCA and technical risk management processes.
- Applies and promotes design guidelines, norms, and calculation tools within the team.
- Actively collaborates and contributes to technical discussions with a preventive mindset.
- Ensures alignment with engineering change management processes.
- B.Sc., M.Sc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or one of development engineering related disciplines
- Strong technical knowledge in Thermodynamics, Fluid Dynamics, Heat Transfer, HVAC
- Strong technical background and analytical thinking skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience in agile working environment (sprints, PI planning, ...) and tools (JIRA)
- Good command on English both written and spoken
- Familiarity & experience with FMEA, FAM, 8D etc.
- Familiarity & experience with SAP, MS Office
- Able to work within international project teams with very good communication skills
