JOIN OUR TEAM
As Sales Leader, you will take ownership of EQS's commercial growth in the German market, with a strong focus on Compliance & Ethics and Data Privacy solutions . You will combine hands-on sales execution with day-to-day mentoring and enablement of the sales team, helping Account Executives build strong pipelines, win strategic customers, and translate complex regulatory challenges into clear business value.This role is ideal for someone who brings senior B2B SaaS sales experience, a strong understanding of the German market, and the ability to coach, challenge, and enable a high-performing sales team. YOUR IMPACT
This role is about accelerating growth while building a scalable, focused, and high-performing sales motion for Compliance & Ethics and Data Privacy.- Lead, coach, and develop the German sales team, creating clarity on priorities, pipeline quality, deal strategy, and commercial execution.
- Own German bookings performance, with a focus on new business growth, expansion opportunities, and predictable forecasting.
- Support Account Executives in complex sales cycles, including discovery, stakeholder mapping, value positioning, negotiation, and closing.
- Drive sales excellence across the team by strengthening qualification discipline, pipeline management, CRM hygiene, and follow-up routines.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across Legal, Compliance, Data Privacy, Risk, and Management teams.
- Position EQS solutions in a consultative and value-oriented way, connecting Compliance & Ethics and Data Privacy capabilities to customer risk, regulatory, and governance needs.
- Collaborate closely with Sales Development, Marketing, Solution Consulting, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, and senior leadership to strengthen market presence and improve conversion.
- Use Salesforce, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and AI-supported workflows to increase visibility, coaching quality, preparation, and sales productivity.
- Bring market insights back into the organization to sharpen messaging, campaigns, enablement, and commercial strategy.
THIS IS YOU
Must have- Several years of successful B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally including ownership of complex sales cycles in the German or DACH market.
- Proven leadership experience mentoring or coaching sales professionals, with the ability to raise performance through clear expectations and practical feedback, plus sales experience in at least one of the following: Compliance, Data Privacy, GRC, LegalTech, or RegTech.
- Strong understanding of German business culture, buying behavior, customer expectations, and enterprise or mid-market sales dynamics.
- Consultative selling skills with the ability to connect customer pain points to measurable business value.
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and multi-threaded buying groups across Legal, Compliance, Data Privacy, Risk, and Management.
- Strong commercial judgment, including the ability to prioritize opportunities, support deal strategy, and balance short-term revenue with long-term customer value.
- Structured, transparent, and data-informed working style, with strong CRM discipline and clear communication.
- Ownership mindset: you take responsibility for outcomes, proactively remove blockers, and help others succeed.
- Fluency in German (C2) and strong English skills (C1).
- Experience selling business-critical or enterprise SaaS solutions.
- Experience managing or scaling a sales team in a high-growth or transformation environment.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, MEDDICC, SPICED, Challenger, or comparable sales methodologies and tools.
- Experience contributing to local campaigns, executive events, webinars, roundtables, or other DACH market-building activities.
- Understanding of German regulatory, compliance, privacy, or governance topics relevant to enterprise customers.
