About the role
Fuse Energy is a forward-thinking renewable energy startup on a mission to deliver a terawatt of renewable energy, fast. We’re combining first-principles thinking with cutting-edge technology to build a radically better energy system. We’ve raised $210M from top-tier investors including Multicoin, Balderton, Lakestar, Accel, Creandum, Lowercarbon, Ribbit, Box Group and strategic angels like Nico Rosberg, the co-founder of Solana and GPs behind Meta, Revolut, Spotify and Uber. We’re building a fully integrated energy company: from developing solar, wind and battery projects to real-time power trading and distributed energy installations. By selling directly to consumers, we cut out the middleman, lower costs and pass savings on to customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop tailored sourcing strategies to engage top-tier talent from hedge funds, trading firms, and elite technical organisations
- Screen and assess candidates for both technical excellence and cultural fit
- Run high-quality processes: drive pipeline activity, facilitate debriefs, and ensure seamless candidate experiences
- Negotiate offers and close world-class talent in competitive markets
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and department heads to understand their hiring needs and timelines
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a heavy focus on backend roles in high-performance engineering environments
- Agency background working with trading firms, hedge funds, or HFTs
- Proven ability to identify and close candidates with niche, in-demand skill sets
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates
- Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills across all levels of an organization
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with ATS tools, reporting, and data-driven recruiting practices
