Applications & User Testing Specialist - short term

So, what are the main responsibilities of an Applications & User Testing Specialist in Netcompany?

As an Applications & User Testing Specialist, you will:

• Coordinate and execute application testing activities, including test planning, test execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
• Identify, document, and prioritise software defects, ensuring timely escalation and follow-up with technical teams.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) campaigns and validate delivered fixes and enhancements.
• Monitor recurring application incidents, analyse root causes, and maintain issue documentation and knowledge repositories.
• Track and follow up on change requests, ensuring alignment with approved business requirements and procedures.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to clarify requirements and resolve functional issues.
• Prepare test evidence, status reports, and documentation to support project and operational activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to application quality, support processes, and user experience.

What would make you a fit for the role:

• Bachelor’s/Master's Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, Application Support Analyst, or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with software testing, defect management, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Strong understanding of incident management, change request processes, and application support activities.
• Familiarity with service management and issue-tracking tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to translate business needs into clear functional requirements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working effectively between business users and technical teams.
• Fluency in English and ability to work independently in a multicultural environment; previous experience within public sector or European Institution environments is an asset
