Assistant Accountant (Fixed Term Contact)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized junior professional to join our Finance department as an Assistant Accountant In this role, you will handle the daily bookkeeping operation as well as supporting the team with various reconciliation and reporting tasks and ad-hoc projects.

• Record supplier invoices and ensure approval verification.
• Process and record customer receipts.
• Perform ledger reconciliations as required
• Process Supplier expense reports.
• Maintain the fixed asset register.
• Actively participate in the transition and implementation of the new SAP system.
• Assist with other accounting tasks and ad-hoc projects as required.

What distinguishes you:

• University Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Very good knowledge of accounting procedures and C’ category bookkeeping standards.
• Computer literacy with advanced Excel knowledge
• Hands‑on experience with SAP is highly desirable.
• Experience with the MY DATA platform will be considered a plus.
• Fluency in Greek & English
• Strong analytical skills, high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Integrity, motivation, and a pro-active attitude
