About the role
This is a full time, permanent position based on site. Working Monday to Friday within the hours of 08:00 to 17:00.
- Own the end-to-end capital project setup process, ensuring accurate project creation, maintenance, and governance
- Coordinate and manage approval workflows, acting as the key liaison between Operational teams and Finance stakeholders to ensure timely project approvals
- Process fixed asset transactions including disposals, transfers, and impairments, maintaining robust audit trails and compliance documentation
- Manage the full asset capitalisation lifecycle, from PO approval through to final capitalisation, ensuring adherence to approved business cases and company policies
- Support financial control activities through account management, month-end journals, reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and wider Finance Controllership support
- Finance background gained through academic study (e.g., degree) and/or practical finance experience, with a commitment to pursuing an accounting qualification
- Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyse financial information accurately and efficiently
- Excellent analytical and attention-to-detail skills, ensuring high levels of accuracy and compliance
- Confident communicator who can build effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders Highly organised and proactive, with strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
