Back-End Development - TS/SCI

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Back-End Developer with TS/SCI clearance to join our dynamic team.

Duties shall include:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications and APIs
• Building and managing databases, and ensuring data integrity and security
• Design and optimize database queries and data access layers
• Integrate with Government authentication systems and security frameworks
• Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Leading code reviews and promoting best practices in back-end development
• Implement security controls and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
• Create and maintain documentation for back-end systems and interfaces\
• Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration
• Coordinate with data engineering team on database design and implementation
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers

Skills and Experience:

Required:

• Active TS/SCI with CI polygraph security clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in back-end development
• Expertise in one or more back-end programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, Ruby, or Node.js.
• Strong understanding of database technologies, both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Experience with API design and development (e.g., REST, GraphQL).
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of server-side frameworks (e.g., Django, Spring, .NET).
• Knowledge of database design and optimization techniques
• Experience with API development and integration
• Understanding of security best practices for classified environments
• Experience with authentication and authorization systems

Desired:

• Experience working with classified systems and security requirements
• Knowledge of TSSC operations and requirements
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and services
• Understanding of signal processing and data analysis techniques
• Experience with high-performance computing for data processing
• Experience with message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Knowledge of caching technologies such as Redis or Memcached
• Expertise in designing and implementing microservices architectures
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Experience with serverless computing (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions)

Pay: $135,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year
