Job Description

Join the Vault team to design and build performant microservices that power global banks like Lloyds and Standard Chartered. You will work in a fast-paced monorepo environment, delivering production-ready Python and Go code. This role combines deep backend engineering with client-facing scoping to translate complex requirements into scalable, cloud-native financial solutions.

What You Will Do

• Design, implement, and develop scalable microservices using Python or Golang within a sophisticated cloud-native architecture.
• Manage and debug complex deployments from testing environments through to production, ensuring system performance and reliability.
• Interface directly with clients to scope deliverables, translate requirements into trackable tickets, and ensure feature coherence across engineering teams.
  
  

The ideal candidate

• Possesses 3-7 years of backend engineering experience with a strong proficiency in either Python or Golang for production services.
• Has a proven track record of developing automated unit and integration tests as an integral part of the development lifecycle.
• Demonstrates experience with cloud providers like AWS, orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, and designing scalable microservice or client/server architectures.
