As the second dedicated hire for the AI Agents team, you will design and scale production-grade agentic systems, moving beyond LLM prototypes to build sophisticated, multi-step autonomous decision loops that solve critical security risks.

What You Will Do

• Design and implement backend systems that support complex, multi-step agentic workloads and tool-calling architectures using Python and AWS.
• Take end-to-end ownership of the development lifecycle, from initial AI agent prototyping to deploying scalable production services.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and founding engineers to optimize application performance, security, and reliability for high-stakes cybersecurity environments.
  
  

The ideal candidate

• 7+ years of professional backend development experience, with a mastery of Python and cloud-native architectures on AWS.
• Proven track record of productionizing AI agents or complex LLM workflows using frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex.
• Strong systems design background with experience in asynchronous processing, event-driven architectures, and building robust evaluation frameworks for AI performance.
