Breakfast Host

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Breakfast Host to join our team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests during breakfast service, ensuring they have an enjoyable and seamless experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and prior experience in food service or hospitality. Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements
• Manage guest inquiries and provide information about breakfast options and hotel amenities
• Serve breakfast items efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Ensure timely refilling of buffet stations and maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area
• Handle guest requests promptly, demonstrating excellent guest relations and service skills
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth breakfast operations
• Assist in setting up and breaking down the breakfast service area as needed

Experience

• Prior experience as a host/hostess, server, or in food service is preferred
• Experience working in restaurants, hotels, or hospitality environments is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with guests professionally
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Knowledge of guest services, hospitality standards, and serving procedures is advantageous
• Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills are essential
• Previous experience in hotel guest services or restaurant settings will be beneficial for success in this role
