Role Description The Owner role at MaXaM Productions is a part‑time, on‑site position based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. This role involves guiding the creative vision and business strategy for current and future projects, including reviewing concepts, scripts, and treatments, and providing direction to production and marketing partners. Responsibilities include overseeing budgets and financial planning, nurturing relationships with clients, collaborators, and distributors, and identifying new business opportunities in film, television, and digital media. The owner coordinates project timelines, ensures alignment with brand standards, and makes key decisions on resource allocation and partnerships. Day‑to‑day activities also include attending meetings, industry events, and screenings to build networks and stay informed about market trends and technological advancements.

- Ability to work on‑site in the New York City Metropolitan Area and travel as needed for locations, festivals, and partner meetings.
- Prior ownership, executive, or entrepreneurial experience in media, marketing, or related fields is highly beneficial.
