Business Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Business Analyst to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to identify business needs, analyze processes, and deliver data-driven solutions that improve efficiency and support organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories
• Analyze current processes and recommend improvements
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to implement solutions
• Create reports, dashboards, and presentations to support decision-making
• Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments
• Support testing, validation, and deployment of new systems or features
• Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with business objectives

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, IT, or a related field
• 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL, and business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI)
• Experience with requirement gathering and documentation (BRD, FRD, user stories)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA
• Experience with project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Asana, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of data analysis or programming (Python, R)
• Experience in industries like finance, healthcare, or technology
