The Role: What It Means to "Own It"

As our Cafe Manager, you are the heartbeat of the shop. You aren't just standing behind the counter; you are looking at the big picture. You understand exactly what draws a customer through the door—from the aroma of fresh bakes and the spotless gleam of the tables to a killer Instagram post that makes people drive across town just to visit us.

You will lead a small, willing team, structure their days so no job is ever "half-done," and take total accountability for the standards and growth of the cafe.

Key Responsibilities

• Elevate the Standards: Maintain an uncompromising eye for cleanliness, presentation, and product quality. From the front window to the kitchen counters, everything must be immaculate.
• Drive Business & Marketing: You won't just wait for customers to walk in. You will actively hustle for new business through creative social media content, local leafleting, community networking, and enticing promotions.
• Team Leadership & Structure: Take the pressure off our team. You will organize schedules, delegate tasks clearly, and ensure everyone knows their role so operations run like clockwork.
• Operational Oversight: While we navigate our kitchen needs (including baking), you will help streamline daily prep so the team feels supported, confident, and capable.
• Weekend Ownership: High-street hospitality thrives on the weekends. You will be front and center during our busiest times to ensure peak service and maximum profitability.

• A Natural Promoter: You have a knack for visual storytelling, know your way around Instagram/TikTok, and aren't afraid to do local outreach to get Butta on the map.
• Resilient & Hands-on: You lead by example. You’re happy to jump on the coffee machine, help with the washing up, or support the team when things get hectic.

Pay: £25,420.00-£30,000.00 per year
