About the role

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. In this role, you will lead and support a wide range of infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Your expertise will drive project success from initial design through construction management, with a focus on civil infrastructure systems such as stormwater management, water and wastewater treatment, and transportation networks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a collaborative environment while managing complex projects that make a tangible impact on communities.

Duties

  • Develop detailed design schematics and technical engineering reports for civil infrastructure projects using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and MicroStation.
  • Lead project planning activities including scheduling, resource allocation, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Manage the permitting phase by preparing documentation, liaising with regulatory agencies, and ensuring compliance with local codes and standards.
  • Conduct construction management activities including site inspections, quality control, and overseeing construction inspection processes to ensure adherence to design specifications.
  • Utilize hydrological modeling tools like SWMM and HEC-RAS for hydrologic analysis and stormwater system design; perform geotechnical assessments as needed.
  • Prepare technical engineering reports detailing system designs, hydrologic/hydraulic analyses, and project progress updates for clients and stakeholders.
  • Oversee the use of GIS platforms such as ArcGIS and GIS-based tools for land surveying, spatial analysis, and project mapping.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to communicate project progress, address concerns, and incorporate feedback throughout all project phases.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation; familiarity with CAD drafting and schematics development.
  • Skilled in hydrological/hydraulic modeling using SWMM, HEC-HMS/HEC-RAS or similar tools; experience with GIS platforms like ArcGIS or GIS-based hydrologic analysis is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team leadership; capable of managing project timelines while ensuring quality standards are met.
