Position Summary

Bengal Engineers LLC is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Civil Engineer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or an engineer with up to three years of experience who is eager to build a career in consulting engineering. We provide hands-on training and mentorship, so candidates with experience in any civil engineering discipline are encouraged to apply, including site development, structural engineering, water resources, transportation engineering, traffic engineering, environmental engineering, municipal engineering, construction management, or construction inspection.

This position offers the opportunity to gain experience in both office and field environments, working on engineering design, permitting, field inspections, and construction management for a wide variety of civil engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of engineering plans, calculations, technical reports, and permit documents.
• Support the design and permitting of land development and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare engineering drawings using AutoCAD and other design software.
• Coordinate with project managers and senior engineers to meet project schedules and client requirements.
• Conduct engineering research and apply applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
• Participate in field inspections, construction observation, site assessments, and construction management activities as needed.
• Assist with construction administration, documentation, and coordination with contractors and clients.
• Develop technical and professional skills through mentoring and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• 0–3 years of civil engineering experience.
• Experience in any civil engineering discipline is welcome, including:
• Site/Civil Engineering
• Structural Engineering
• Water Resources Engineering
• Transportation Engineering
• Traffic Engineering
• Environmental Engineering
• Municipal Engineering
• Construction Management
• Construction Inspection or Field Inspection
• Familiarity with AutoCAD is preferred. Experience with Civil 3D, MicroStation, or other civil engineering design and analysis software is a plus.
• Experience with civil engineering-related software, including GIS or other technical software tools, is highly desirable.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is a plus but not required.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
