Duties

• Collect, clean, and transform large datasets using ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure high-quality data for analysis.
• Design and develop data models and databases utilizing SQL Server, Oracle, or other relational database systems to support reporting needs.
• Create interactive dashboards and visualizations with tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms to communicate insights effectively.
• Conduct comprehensive data analysis using R, Python, Excel, and other analytics tools to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for reports and dashboards.
• Perform software development lifecycle analysis (SDLC) for data projects ensuring best practices in project management and agile methodologies.
• Develop and maintain documentation such as data flow diagrams in Visio or Bash scripts for automation purposes.
• Support technical proficiency across SQL queries, query management, linked data integration, and database design for scalable solutions.

Experience

• Proven experience working with SQL databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle in a business intelligence or analytics role.
• Strong proficiency in data visualization tools including Tableau, Power BI, or Looker with a portfolio of dashboards developed.
• Solid understanding of ETL processes, database design principles, and software development lifecycle analysis (SDLC).
• Hands-on experience with programming languages like R and Python for statistical analysis and automation tasks.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools such as VBA, Bash (Unix shell scripting), Talend or similar platforms for data integration.
• Knowledge of business analysis techniques including requirements analysis, dashboard development, and reporting strategies.
• Ability to interpret complex datasets through analysis skills that support business insights and strategic planning.
• Experience working within Agile project management frameworks to deliver timely solutions in fast-paced environments.
