About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead the design, modernization, and migration of enterprise data platforms. You will be responsible for architecting scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions while driving cloud migration and data transformation initiatives across the Microsoft ecosystem.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale enterprise projects leveraging Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Microsoft Fabric, and Microsoft Sync Apps.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-wide data architecture aligned with business and technology objectives.
• Lead data platform migration and modernization initiatives from legacy environments to cloud-based solutions.
• Architect scalable data solutions using Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Design data ingestion, integration, transformation, and storage frameworks.
• Develop data models and architecture that support analytics, reporting, and AI initiatives.
• Collaborate with solution architects, data engineers, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end data solutions.
• Establish best practices for data governance, security, performance, and scalability.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Data Architect or Senior Data Engineering professional.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks.
• Experience designing and implementing Azure Data Lake solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience working with Microsoft Sync Apps and enterprise data integration.
• Demonstrated experience leading data migration and cloud modernization projects.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, ETL/ELT, data modeling, and data governance.
• Experience with Azure cloud services and modern data platforms.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and Power BI.
• Microsoft Azure certifications are highly regarded.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices for data platforms.
