This opportunity is ideally suited to a Palantir Data Engineer with experience across the Palantir ecosystem, particularly Foundry and Gotham . Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be willing and eligible to obtain Developed Vetting (DV) clearance , with existing clearance highly desirable.

As a Palantir Data Engineer , you will play a key role in helping Defence and Security clients unlock the value of their data by designing, developing, and deploying solutions across the Palantir platform, transforming complex datasets into trusted information assets and operational capabilities.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Deliver data engineering solutions using Palantir Foundry and Gotham
• Work on high‑impact Defence and Security programmes
• Design scalable data pipelines, workflows, and information models
• Develop solutions that support analytics, AI, operational applications, and decision support
• Contribute to the design and development of Foundry Ontologies
• Work within agile, multidisciplinary delivery teams across complex environments
• Build strong client relationships while delivering tangible outcomes

Your Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines within Palantir Foundry
• Build data ingestion, transformation, and integration processes across diverse data sources
• Create trusted data assets for downstream operational, reporting, and AI use cases
• Develop and maintain data models, governance frameworks, and lineage standards
• Architect Foundry solutions capable of supporting large‑scale, complex environments
• Develop user‑facing applications across the Palantir stack using low‑code and pro‑code approaches
• Optimise data workflows, compute modules, and platform performance
• Support the development of military and operational workflows within Palantir Gotham
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions

Key Requirements:

• Experience delivering solutions using Palantir Foundry and/or Palantir Gotham
• Strong experience building data pipelines, ETL processes, and automated workflows
• Experience ingesting, transforming, enriching, and integrating complex datasets
• Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, data quality, and lineage
• Experience working with batch, streaming, real‑time, and unstructured data
• Strong understanding of data modelling and Ontology design
• Experience designing scalable data architectures and information assets
• Coding experience in Python, TypeScript , or similar languages
• Understanding of SDLC principles, version control, and CI/CD practices
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Willingness and eligibility to obtain UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance
