- Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in working with large, complex datasets and applying data analysis and mining techniques to extract meaningful insights.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python or R, along with experience in data manipulation and visualization libraries.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques and frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Strong understanding of statistical concepts and hypothesis testing to drive data-driven decisions.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret and leverage data from multiple sources.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex technical findings to diverse audiences.
- Collaborative and proactive mindset, eager to contribute within a cross-functional team.
- Passion for data science and a strong desire to make a tangible impact on AI projects in the realm of economic statecraft.
- Responsibilities:**
- Collaborate closely with AI Research Scientists, Knowledge Curation Specialists, and NLP Specialists to collect, clean, and preprocess diverse data sets for analysis and modeling.
- Apply data mining and statistical analysis techniques to unveil patterns, trends, and correlations within complex data, providing valuable insights for strategic decisions.
- Develop predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical models tailored to address challenges in economic statecraft scenarios.
- Conduct thorough evaluations and validation of data models, ensuring their accuracy, reliability, and suitability for real-world applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data analysis into AI-driven solutions for knowledge curation and scenario evaluations.
- Communicate findings and insights through clear visualizations, reports, and presentations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Explore and experiment with new data science tools and methodologies to enhance the performance and effectiveness of our AI projects.
- Work with Data Engineers and Machine Learning Engineers to establish scalable data pipelines for data processing and model deployment.
