Senior Data Scientist – Post-Market Surveillance & Manufacturing Analytics (Medical Device) | Remote

We're hiring a Senior Data Scientist for a medical device manufacturer. This role sits at the intersection of quality, manufacturing, and product design, using AI and advanced statistics to catch failure patterns before they become recalls.

What you'll do:

• Correlate complaints, service records, and field performance data with manufacturing processes, supplier quality, and design changes
• Lead root cause investigations across structured and unstructured data
• Apply ML and LLMs for pattern detection and signal identification
• Build embedding-based similarity search and predictive models
• Design agentic AI workflows to automate analysis and recommendations
• Partner directly with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Field Service

What you bring:

• 7-10+ years in data science or advanced analytics
• Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (preferred)
• Experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing, with working knowledge of FDA regulations and QMS
• Strong statistical foundation: hypothesis testing, experimental design, clustering, classification
• Hands-on LLM and vector embedding experience in production analytical workflows
• SAP experience (Tahiti a plus), including underlying data structures for manufacturing and quality modules

This is an assignment with strong potential for extension or conversion. Remote.
