DevOps Engineer

We are currently looking for a passionate and motivated DevOps Engineer to join FINARTIX's Software Engineering Practice and our projects on behalf of of our major clients in banking sector. Your ability to learn and apply advanced Technology solutions, will give you the opportunity to grow professionally and participate in the design, implementation and deployment of leading-edge technologies.

As a DevOps Engineer at FINARTIX, you will be responsible for the creation of pipelines, version releases, including supporting the build and test infrastructure for multiple teams involved in the project delivery for our clients, coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth product/module/version delivery of highest quality and release to relevant distribution channels. We value continuous improvement and are incorporating DevOps best practices.

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (mandatory)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitLab, etc.), Docker and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
• Experience using version control systems (e.g. Git, SVN, TFS)
• 2-3 years of Software Engineering experience and knowledge of at least one dynamic scripting language (Python, Ruby, Groovy, etc.)
• Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Professional experience with automation and IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform) will be considered as a plus
• Experience interacting with senior stakeholders on releases and deployments
• Languages required: English and Greek, both written and verbal
• Eligible to work in Greece
