Due to rapid growth, we're looking for an Electrical & Controls Engineer ready to take ownership, solve complex challenges, and play a key role in delivering world-class automation solutions.


What You'll Do

You'll be hands-on across the full lifecycle of advanced automation systems - from concept through commissioning and beyond:

  • Design, develop, and implement automation and control systems
  • Create and document process sequences, IO mapping, and system specifications
  • Program and configure:
  • PLCs (ideally Rockwell)
  • HMIs
  • Motion systems (including multi-axis servo)
  • Robotics with line tracking
  • Machine vision systems (Cognex, Fanuc, Keyence)
  • Lead and support FAT & SAT testing, ensuring systems perform flawlessly
  • Troubleshoot and optimize control systems for continuous improvement
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders


What You Bring

We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment:


Essential Skills

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in controls/automation engineering
  • Strong PLC programming (preferably Rockwell)
  • Experience with machine vision systems
  • Solid understanding of safety standards and risk assessments

  • Able to visualise systems from concept to execution

  • OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing) experience
  • Background in food & beverage or life sciences automation


Travel

  • Approximately 25% travel (including occasional 1-2 week trips)

  • Electrical & Controls Engineering
