We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer PE to join our dynamic engineering team. Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems, schematics, and circuit layouts using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or MicroStation.
- Lead PCB design efforts incorporating surface mount technology (SMT) and ensure manufacturability for high-quality production.
- Utilize simulation tools like MATLAB, Simulink, and SystemVerilog to model system behavior and verify performance prior to implementation.
- Conduct root cause analysis on electrical failures or system malfunctions to identify issues and implement effective corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams on FPGA development, SoC integration, and embedded firmware programming using languages such as C++, Python, Perl, and scripting tools.
- Ensure all designs meet electrical building codes (NEC), NFPA 70 compliance standards, and industry safety regulations including electrical system testing procedures.
- Support manufacturing processes through debugging, automation integration, control systems programming (ARM, Arduino), and vision inspection systems.
- Perform engineering troubleshooting during product development phases and provide technical guidance on signal processing, control systems, and industrial automation projects.
- Participate in project scheduling activities to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and precision.
Experience
- Proven experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role with a focus on electrical system design and electronics development.
- Extensive knowledge of PCB design principles including surface mount technology (SMT), schematic capture, and circuit layout optimization.
- Hands-on experience with FPGA development using VHDL or SystemVerilog; familiarity with simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink is highly desirable.
- Strong background in electrical troubleshooting techniques including use of ohmmeters, oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, and other diagnostic equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to work with CAD software such as AutoCAD Revit or MicroStation for detailed electrical schematics and system layouts.
- Experience integrating programmable logic controllers (PLCs), automation systems, and control hardware into complex projects.
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles related to electrical enclosures, surface mount assembly (SMT), and mechanical integration of electronic components.
- Familiarity with industry standards including NEC (National Electrical Code), NFPA 70 compliance requirements for electrical safety in industrial environments.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, Perl for system development verification and firmware updates.
- Ability to perform engineering testing on prototypes or production units to validate design integrity under real-world conditions.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
