Electrical Engineering Intern
Location: Scotts Valley, CA

Digital Dynamics Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer Intern to join our engineering team. In this role, you will work under the guidance of experienced engineers to support the design, testing, and documentation of electrical systems and components used in our high-performance industrial control products. Responsibilities include assisting with schematic design, circuit board layout, prototype testing, and troubleshooting. You will also contribute to documentation updates, engineering change orders, and technical reports. This hands-on internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain real-world experience in hardware development and manufacturing environments.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Basic understanding of circuit theory, PCB design, and electronic components
• Familiarity with tools such as Altium Designer, oscilloscopes, and multimeters is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Coursework or project experience with analog and digital circuit design
• Familiarity with PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, or KiCad)
• Hands-on experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and multimeters
• Knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, or firmware development is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and technical documentation
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
