Role Summary
WarpWare is seeking an Embedded Space Software Engineer to develop capabilities for the WarpWare software platform, perform research and development, and deliver on contracts for a variety of commercial and government customers. Successful candidates will demonstrate a high degree of ownership, independence, and problem solving skills regardless of experience.

Responsibilities
This role involves working on a variety of projects across the space domain, including rocket launch, rendezvous and proximity operations (RPO), Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and Geosynchronous (GEO) operations, and cislunar operations.
- Design, develop, and test space systems and software
- Interface regularly with customers
- Apply systems engineering principles to the development, analysis, and execution of complex systems
- Think creatively to develop innovative solutions to challenging problems
- Develop high reliability microcontroller and microprocessor space software
- Analyze real flight data, develop insights, and iterate system design to improve performance
- Develop software in C++ and (to a lesser extent) Python
- Shape the future of the WarpWare platform
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
- Demonstrated experience exercising strong ownership of complex problems
- Willingness to challenge others and be challenged
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Strong coding and problem solving skills
- Must be eligible to perform EAR / ITAR work
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using C++ and Python
- Embedded software development experience
- Experience working on space software projects
Compensation & Benefits
SALARY: $90,000 - $150,000
