About the role
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Engineer to join our team. The Engineer will be responsible for system design, civil engineering, and mechanical knowledge. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the design of all products produced by Everything Inc, including but not limited to, ice rink mechanical systems, refrigeration systems, electromechanical systems, hydronic piping systems and dasherboard containment systems. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to cutting-edge projects.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and Control the Production of Project Drawings, including issuance for fabrication and installation
- Establishing the policies, procedures, and documentation for the engineering department
- Draft all Bill of Materials for the manufacturing and fabrication of company products
- Specify, evaluate, and approve all capital equipment required for projects
- Prepare project required submittals in accordance with project and company specifications
- Meet and exceed needs of customer's expected experience
- Attend project meetings and provide updates as required
- Provide necessary updates and forecasting to project management
-Assist in ensuring the quality of all products through the creation and implementation of quality control processes for all item manufactured and installed by Everything Ice
-Specification Review: Review all Project Specifications for both materials and methods and implement into all Project Drawings and Bill of Materials
-Review and approve the Engineering Operations Manual
-Develop new and/or improved equipment designs as directed by management
-Resolve shop and/or field technical issues as needed
-Develop score of work / specifications for major subcontractors
-Maintain knowledge of latest engineering design codes and standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in system design and civil engineering
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience with mechanical engineering principles
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
