About the role

As an Evidence Services Analyst, you will contribute to work that underpins the integrity of Australia's criminal justice system. Working within a collaborative and professional team, you will support the effective management, analysis and coordination of evidentiary material, ensuring information is handled accurately, securely and in accordance with the legislative and organisational requirements.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where no two matters are the same. You will engage with a broad range of stakeholders and contribute to delivering high-quality evidence services that support operational and legal outcomes for the CDPP. Your work will require sound judgement, a methodical approach and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, confidentiality and professionalism.

What will you bring?

You are a proactive and organised professional who enjoys working with information and has a keen eye for detail. You take a systematic approach to your work, can interpret and analyse complex material, and remain focused on delivering accurate, high-quality outcomes, even when managing competing priorities.

You communicate effectively, build productive working relationships and are comfortable working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders from a range of professional backgrounds. You understand the importance of confidentiality, exercise sound judgement when handling sensitive information and are committed to maintaining strong governance and quality standards.

You are also someone who embraces continuous improvement. Whether identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance service delivery or improve the way information is managed, you are motivated by finding practical solutions that contribute to team and organisational success.

We welcome applications from candidates with experience in areas such as data analysis, records and information management, project administration, statistics, business support, governance, compliance, research or other roles that involve interpreting information, maintaining accurate records and working with complex datasets or documentation. Experience in legal or law enforcement environments is valuable but not essential.

Our ideal candidate is naturally curious, analytical and enjoys working with information to support informed decision-making. You have a methodical approach, a strong eye for detail and are motivated by producing accurate, high-quality work in an environment where integrity and accountability matter.
