It's fire and security division provides the design, installation, maintenance, and monitoring of fire alarms, CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, and life safety systems, helping organisations protect their people, assets, and premises while ensuring compliance and resilience.
Job Description
As an apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced engineers to install, maintain and fault-find on the following systems:
Access Control
Video Surveillance
Intruder Alarms
Fire Alarms
Training will consist of on the job training and multiple sessions and courses including legislational courses related to the industry. These will be at specific venues and course providers own premises nationally. Examples, but not limited to: Zeus/FIA/C-Tec/Texecom/Dahua/HIKVision, etc. The candidates do stay away for these course on occasion. the company will provide for this.
Entry Requirements
Electrical installation qualifications desirable
Must pass an enhanced DBS check
Driving license is required
Age 20+ due to van insurance restrictions
Training to be Provided
This is where you'll learn the skills that employers actually want.
Your apprenticeship training is delivered by Skills for Security, specialists in fire and security training.
You’ll train through block release at our Warrington/Walsall centre, for one week every eight weeks (Tuesday–Friday).
You’ll work towards a Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician apprenticeship, gaining real skills and a nationally recognised qualification.
