Finance Freelancer (m/f/d)

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and dependable Finance Freelancer to support a wide range of finance and accounting functions. The selected candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, invoice posting, and ensuring compliance with established financial policies and procedures. This position requires a proactive individual who can work independently, manage multiple priorities, and consistently deliver high-quality work within agreed deadlines.

• Process, review, and record invoices and other financial transactions promptly, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Conduct regular bank, supplier, customer, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide meaningful insights to support business decision-making and strategic planning.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and preparation of financial statements.
• Monitor and manage customer accounts receivable balances, Follow up on overdue invoices and support collection activities.
• Support the maintenance of internal controls, ensuring compliance with accounting policies, and applicable financial reporting regulations.

• Degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.

Candidates should be comfortable and available to undertake evening, late-night, or overnight assignments when operationally necessary. The ability to maintain productivity and accuracy during these periods is essential to the successful performance of the role.
