Job Summary

geoConvergence builds powerful geospatial tools and solutions on top of ESRI's platform, including indoor mapping and BIM visualization applications. We're looking for a Front-End Developer to craft intuitive, high-performance customer-facing applications with a spatial edge. We are an AWS-first shop with a modern React-based frontend stack.

Position Responsibilities

· Operate LiDAR equipment in the field to collect accurate point cloud data across various Build and maintain customer-facing web applications backed by ESRI/ArcGIS services

· Develop responsive, interactive UIs using React and TypeScript

· Build and integrate 3D scene viewers and indoor mapping interfaces using ArcGIS Maps SDK and ArcGIS Indoors

· Visualize BIM data layers (IFC, Revit) within web mapping applications

· Integrate with AWS API Gateway-backed REST APIs and third-party services

· Configure and extend GIS platform services (feature layers, tile services, map services) to support application needs

· Collaborate with GIS analysts and backend teams to translate complex geospatial and indoor data into clean, intuitive interfaces

· Participate in testing (unit, integration, acceptance) and support deployments via Bitbucket Pipelines

· Produce clear technical documentation and user-facing guides

· Participate in client meetings and technical workshops as needed

Qualifications

Required:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, GIS, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience

· 3+ years of front-end development experience

· Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React

· Experience integrating REST APIs and third-party platforms; familiarity with Swagger/OpenAPI documentation

· Experience with Bitbucket for version control and Bitbucket Pipelines for CI/CD

· Familiarity with AWS frontend/cloud services (API Gateway, Cognito, S3/CloudFront a plus)

· Understanding of OAuth2 and token-based authentication (AWS Cognito, Auth0)

· Eye for clean, responsive UI/UX

Preferred:

· Experience with ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript, ArcGIS Indoors, or ArcGIS Scene Viewer

· Familiarity with BIM visualization in web applications (IFC.js, Forge Viewer, or ESRI BIM layers)

· Experience with 3D web rendering (Cesium or similar)

· Experience with spatial data formats (GeoJSON, Shapefile)

· Familiarity with Docker and containerized development environments

· Startup or consulting environment experience

· Detail-oriented — cares about pixel precision and data rendering accuracy

· Collaborative — works well across GIS, backend, and client-facing teams

· Adaptable — comfortable wearing multiple hats in a startup environment
