Tiny Home Consulting is looking for a Full Stack Android Developer who enjoys solving challenging problems, building polished applications, and working alongside a collaborative team that values quality over bureaucracy.

We're a growing software development company based just outside Cincinnati. Our team is small by design, allowing every developer to have a meaningful impact on the products we build. You'll work closely with Product, UX, QA, and fellow engineers to deliver modern software solutions for clients across multiple industries.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin.
• Build and enhance backend services using C# and .NET.
• Design, consume, and improve RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate closely with Product, UX, QA, and DevOps throughout the development lifecycle.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical design decisions.
• Improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Contribute ideas that make both our products and our engineering team stronger.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience developing native Android applications using Kotlin.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose or traditional Android Views, Android Jetpack libraries, and MVVM architecture.
• Experience with Retrofit or similar networking libraries.
• Experience building or consuming REST APIs.
• Experience with C# and modern .NET (.NET Core/.NET 8 preferred).
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.
• Experience working with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MySQL.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication.

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

• Jetpack Compose
• Coroutines and Flow
• Espresso or other automated testing frameworks
• React
• JavaScript/TypeScript
• Docker
• AWS or Azure
• CI/CD pipelines
• Analytics and application telemetry

Relocation

This position is based in our West Chester, Ohio office. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates. Employees are expected to relocate within 60 to 90 days of accepting an offer.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
