Full Stack Developer (Hybrid)- New York, NY

We're looking for a Full Stack Developer who thrives in a fast-paced, startup-style environment and enjoys taking complete ownership of software solutions—from initial architecture through deployment and ongoing support.

This isn't a role where you'll be responsible for just one layer of the application. We're looking for someone who can design, build, deploy, and maintain modern applications independently , making sound technical decisions while collaborating with a small, agile team.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications from concept through production.
• Build modern, responsive user interfaces using React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript .
• Develop scalable back-end services using Python (FastAPI) or Node.js .
• Design secure RESTful APIs and integrate multiple third-party platforms.
• Create and optimize SQL and NoSQL database structures.
• Design database schemas and overall system architecture for new applications.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes within Microsoft Azure.
• Deploy applications from scratch and oversee production environments.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform debugging, and continuously improve application performance.
• Collaborate with product, UX/UI, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in technical architecture discussions and influence engineering decisions.

Previous experience with these platforms is not required, but you should be comfortable reading API documentation, understanding data flow, and integrating third-party services.

What We're Looking For

Required Skills

• Professional experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Strong front-end development skills using:
• React
• JavaScript (ES6+)
• HTML5
• CSS3
• Back-end development experience with:
• Python (FastAPI) or
• Node.js
• Experience designing REST APIs.
• SQL and NoSQL database design and development.
• Experience deploying applications in Microsoft Azure.
• CI/CD pipeline creation and deployment automation.
• System architecture and database schema design.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs.
• Understanding of event-driven or pub/sub architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Amazon SQS, or similar).
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to independently own projects from architecture through production support.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor or Claude Code .
• Playwright or other integration testing frameworks.
• Unit testing experience.
• LLM application development or AI integrations.
• Cloud-native architecture experience.
• Experience participating in architectural planning and technical decision-making.
