Job Description

As the Founding Full Stack Engineer at NELP, you will own the entire technical stack and shape a product that directly impacts patient safety and nurse retention. You’ll build enterprise-grade infrastructure, AI-driven workflows, and complex data models for large health systems, turning firsthand customer feedback into production features within days.

What You Will Do

• Own the end-to-end architecture and implementation of production features across four integrated products using TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Design and scale complex data models for multi-hospital organizational structures and implement robust enterprise infrastructure including SSO/SAML and HRIS integrations.
• Collaborate directly with health system leaders to translate their needs into AI-enhanced workflows for document retrieval and clinical evidence organization.
  
  

The ideal candidate

• Proven full-stack expertise in production environments using React and Next.js, with a strong ability to build workflow-heavy, multi-tenant SaaS applications.
• Experience as an early engineer at a high-growth startup, comfortable navigating ambiguity and owning both high-level architecture and granular code implementation.
• Excellent communicator who can work alongside non-technical domain experts and demonstrates a deep passion for improving healthcare through high-quality software.
