About the role

Your contribution to something big:

  • Develop and implement advanced automation solutions for assembly processes, contributing to highly efficient and future‑ready production systems;
  • Automate manual operations using collaborative robots (cobots), ensuring safe and ergonomic workflows;
  • Design and develop software for new machines and production lines, enabling seamless integration and high performance;
  • Coordinate and follow up with suppliers during machine development and construction, ensuring technical alignment and quality;
  • Ensure project milestones are achieved, guaranteeing equipment availability and readiness for production;
  • Participate in the setup, commissioning, and ramp‑up of new production lines, both locally and internationally;
  • Introduce new automation technologies and support their industrialization within the plant;
  • Conduct test activities according to defined plans and ensure robust validation of automation solutions;
  • Identify technological advancements that can improve cost, performance, and efficiency of automated systems;
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for automation equipment and processes;
  • Install new equipment, develop and commission automation programs, and perform capability analyses;
  • Support production teams with troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.

What distinguishes you:

Education

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical field.

Experience & Know‑how

  • Experience in programming and commissioning industrial machines;
  • Knowledge of robotics integration and MES connectivity;
  • Hands‑on experience in quality assurance, including machine vision development and programming;
  • Strong background in machine hardware architecture and experience with EPLAN design;
  • Familiarity with technologies such as Beckhoff PLC, TwinCAT 3, Universal Robots, and Stäubli Robotics.

Languages

  • Good written and spoken English.
