About the role
Responsibilities:
Create and assign vulnerability remediation tickets based on scanner output and ownership rules.
Document ticket status, exceptions, compensating controls, and remediation notes.
Track SLA aging and assist with recurring reporting.
Maintain diagrams of internal scanning architecture and external ASM coverage.
Help map scanners, credentialed vs. uncredentialed coverage, and asset groups to business owners.
Tasks:
Assist with re-validation and closure evidence.
Normalize scanner output for reporting.
Support attack surface inventory hygiene and unknown-asset follow-up.
Education: Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of vulnerability management lifecycles, scanning tools, threat concepts, and IT asset management.
Process & Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills with a methodical approach to tracking data, managing ticket queues, and following up on remediation workflows.
