Graphic Designer

Job Summary

This position is full-time & in-house. Must be local to North Texas.

TL Promotions is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our team. In this role, you'll work directly with customers to transform their ideas into high-quality custom apparel and promotional products. From the initial concept through final production, you'll collaborate with clients to create designs that align with their vision while ensuring artwork is production-ready for embroidery and direct-to-film printing.

This position combines graphic design, customer service, order processing, production coordination and marketing in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicates effectively with customers and vendors, and enjoys managing multiple projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Duties

• Design and process custom embroidered cap & DTF apparel orders using established templates.
• Create production-ready artwork for customers & production team use.
• Price hats, apparel, and special-order items while ensuring accurate quoting.
• Prepare and submit final production files to vendors.
• Coordinate with vendors by receiving stitch-out samples and sending customer approval requests.
• Order apparel and promotional products through vendors including SanMar and S&S Activewear.
• Communicate with customers regarding artwork revisions, approvals, print overlays and order status.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure artwork is accurate and production deadlines are met.
• Maintain organized digital files and artwork archives.
• Willing to make cold calls and contact previous clients to assist in sales.

Experience

• 3+ years of professional graphic design experience and a strong portfolio that showcases your work.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of vector artwork, print production, and file preparation.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
• Experience in the promotional products, embroidery, or apparel decoration industry is preferred.
• Experience in Marketing is a big plus.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
