About the role
Can you influence colleagues at every level to make safety part of every decision?
Are you passionate about creating an environment where everyone goes home safe, every day?
- Support the implementation and monitoring of Health & Safety policies, procedures and best practices across the operation
- Conduct site inspections, audits and risk assessments, identifying hazards and implementing effective corrective actions
- Assist with accident, incident and near-miss investigations, ensuring lessons learned are shared and embedded across the business
- Deliver engaging safety briefings, toolbox talks and awareness initiatives that promote a positive safety culture
- Support quality, environmental and compliance activities, including audits, reporting and continuous improvement project
- Experience within a QHSE, Health & Safety or compliance-focused role, ideally in logistics, transport or a fast-paced operational environment
- IOSH Managing Safely and a NEBOSH General Certificate or NVQ L3
- A good understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation and risk management principles
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence and engage colleagues at all levels
- A proactive, organised and detail-focused approach, combined with a genuine passion for continuous improvement and workplace safety
