About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Test Technician to join our team in Norman, United States. As a Test Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through rigorous testing procedures and data analysis.
- Conduct comprehensive tests on various products, components, and systems to evaluate performance, functionality, and compliance with specifications
- Set up and calibrate test equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability of test results
- Perform data collection, analysis, and interpretation to identify trends, anomalies, or potential issues
- Prepare detailed test reports and documentation, including test procedures, results, and recommendations
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues during the testing process
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve product designs and testing methodologies
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
- Assist in the development and implementation of new testing procedures and quality control measures
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices in testing and quality assurance
- 2-year degree in HVAC, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents, including wiring diagrams, schematics, and test procedures
- Hands-on experience with various test equipment, measurement tools, and data acquisition systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Experience in modifying and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and industry standards
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in data analysis software and Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Physical capability to lift and handle equipment, components, and materials as required
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in a testing environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and collaborating with team members
