Success in this role requires strong communication, autonomy, and the ability to anticipate risks and drive timely solutions through to successful delivery.
Your day-to-day
In your day-to-day, you will:
• Lead customer implementations from discovery through adoption, serving as the primary partner to clinical leaders, physician schedulers, planners, and administrators.
• Understand each customer’s scheduling environment, including coverage requirements, rotations, availability, absences, workload equity, and specialty-specific constraints.
• Translate day-to-day scheduling practices into clear business rules and practical, sustainable configurations within the Petal platform.
• Plan and coordinate implementation activities, keeping stakeholders, priorities, decisions, timelines, and deliverables aligned.
• Identify risks, information gaps, and operational challenges early, and recommend solutions that balance clinical needs, customer workflows, and platform capabilities.
• Configure, validate, troubleshoot, and optimize scheduling rules, constraints, equity parameters, and automation scripts.
• Review scheduling outcomes with customers, investigate exceptions, and refine the solution based on testing and real-world use.
• Build customer confidence and autonomy through tailored training, hands-on guidance, and clear explanations of system features and scheduling workflows.
• Support adoption by helping customers adjust their processes and transition successfully to new scheduling practices.
• Collaborate with Product, Development, Technical Support, and Customer Support to resolve issues and deliver a seamless customer experience.
• Use data and reporting tools to validate outcomes, inform recommendations, and support operational decision-making.
• Continuously develop your expertise in physician scheduling, clinical workflows, and the Petal platform while working proactively with customers across multiple time zones.
