Intelligent Automation Engineer

• Design, develop and deploy automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate and Copilot Studio.
• Build AI enabled solutions and intelligent workflows that improve operational efficiency and business outcomes.
• Develop integrations across enterprise platforms, data sources and business systems including SQL, Snowflake and APIs.
• Support, maintain and enhance existing automation solutions, ensuring they remain reliable, secure and fit for purpose.
• Collaborate with product owners, analysts, engineers and business stakeholders to deliver high quality solutions within agile delivery teams.
• Contribute to governance, reusable development patterns and best practices that enable the safe adoption of low code and AI technologies across Zurich.

You'll be a technically strong automation engineer with deep Power Platform experience, a solid foundation in software development and data, and a genuine curiosity for emerging AI technologies. You'll enjoy solving complex business problems, thrive in collaborative environments and bring a practical, delivery focused mindset to everything you do.

In order to be successful, you will have the following:

• Strong hands on experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate and Copilot Studio.
• Experience with software development using Python or Java, with the ability to build and customise automation solutions where required.
• Working knowledge of SQL and data integration concepts, with experience connecting solutions to enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake.
• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON and modern integration patterns within enterprise environments.
• Exposure to Generative AI, Microsoft AI Services and the wider Azure ecosystem, including emerging Microsoft AI capabilities.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills, combined with a commitment to quality engineering, governance and continuous improvement.
