Role Summary

Our Client is looking for a Java Full-Stack & API Developer to join a collaborative software development team. This role is a good fit for someone with a solid foundation in Java development who is interested in building web applications, APIs, and modern cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based web applications and backend services.
• Build and support REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Work on front-end features using Angular, React, Vue, or similar technologies.
• Connect applications with databases, internal systems, and third-party services.
• Help troubleshoot application and API issues.
• Write unit and integration tests.

Required Qualifications

• 5-7 years of software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Java.
• Familiarity with Spring Boot or another Java web framework.
• Experience developing or supporting REST APIs.
• Basic understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.
• Familiarity with a front-end framework such as Angular, React, or Vue.
• Experience working with relational databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with Git or another source-control system.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Experience in all the areas below is not required. Exposure to some of them is helpful.

• Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, or Spring Security.
• OpenAPI, Swagger, Postman, or REST Assured.
• API gateways or API-management platforms.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

Pay: $48.00 - $58.00 per hour
