About The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mobile Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team at Harris Computer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping our mobile product architecture, ensuring seamless integration with backend services, and delivering exceptional user experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Kotlin and Swift, modern UI frameworks, and scalable architecture principles. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects that leverage AI-assisted development tools and cutting-edge technologies to enhance application performance and functionality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years focused on mobile application development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Swift, including modern language features such as coroutines, async/await, and serialization.
• Hands-on experience with native UI frameworks like Jetpack Compose and SwiftUI, including state management and lifecycle handling.
• Strong understanding of reactive, testable mobile architectures such as MVVM and The Composable Architecture, along with dependency injection frameworks like Koin.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs using tools like Retrofit, OkHttp, and URLSession.
• Proficiency with mobile testing frameworks, including JUnit, Mockito, Espresso, Compose UI test, XCTest, and XCUITest.
• Experience with mobile tooling and CI/CD pipelines, including Gradle, Swift Package Manager, Bitrise, and Fastlane.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) and AI prompt engineering for application development.
• Strong problem-solving skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to make critical technical decisions.
• Experience with cloud technologies and microservices architecture is preferred.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, incorporating best practices into development workflows.
